A R T

Self-taught, I have been drawing and painting since I was a child with a fascination for the Divine Feminine. Among my inspirations are Gustav Klimt, Frida Kahlo and Odilon Redon, and of course, my amazing, artsy friends. I must have music while I work because of its inspiration. It is fun to look back on a painting to see how the music has influenced my creativity.

I work with acrylic, watercolor and mixed media collage. I create shrines or altar boxes upon request. My newest form of creation is painting people’s spirit guides. There is more information about that on my Divination page.

Creating art is something I’m always compelled to do, no matter where I am in my life. It lets me express whatever I need to process, reflects my thoughts, emotions and spirit. It is my sacred space where I can dive in and connect with Source. My favorite quote is, “we co-create with an infinite source,” by Tori Amos from her book, “Piece by Piece”.

Some of my art is displayed and for sale at Divine Connection in Black Mountain, NC. I have been a featured artist in "Natural Awakenings" magazine. I have also been a featured artist at Holy Ground in Asheville, NC.
